For snowbird travel, we can make the journey together in your vehicle. You get the convenience of having your car, your baggage and your pet with you at your winter destination—without facing the long drive and hectic traffic alone.You set the pace. Need a break? IT STARTED WITH MY MOM.
For years, I’ve been driving my mom, her dog, her belongings—and her car—south for the winter.And the funny thing is, I love it.I love the open road. I love a good road trip, good conversation, the unexpected stops along the way—and yes, I actually enjoy navigating the big cities and crazy traffic that a lot of people would rather avoid.And somewhere along those miles, something occurred to me.What feels stressful or overwhelming to one person can actually be enjoyable with the right person beside you.Then I thought…Why should my mom have all the fun?
That’s how She’s Got Baggage began.
Travel has always been a big part of my life. I’ve traveled extensively—on my own, with my children, with family and friends, by car and by plane.My background in patient care also taught me how important it is to pay attention, stay calm when plans change, and make sure the person beside me feels comfortable and supported.I’m not looking to rush from Point A to Point B. I’m happy to stop, change plans, laugh when things don’t go quite right, and figure things out as we go.Because sometimes all it takes is having the right person beside you to turn “I'm not sure I want to do this alone” into…“Let’s go.”

What happens when we arrive at my destination?
Once we arrive and you're comfortably where you need to be, my part of the journey is generally complete.Do you drive?
Absolutely! I genuinely love driving—even the long stretches, big cities, and crazy traffic that most people would rather avoid.You can sit back, enjoy the scenery, and leave the hectic driving to me.We'll figure out the transportation details together based on your particular trip.Whose car do we use?
For most road trips, we'll travel in my vehicle or a rental vehicle, depending on the journey.Head South With Me is a little different. For snowbird travel, we can travel in your vehicle so your car, belongings, and four-legged copilot arrive at your winter destination with you.We'll work out the transportation arrangements ahead of time so you know exactly what to expect.Can my pet come?
Absolutely. Four-legged copilots are welcome when the travel arrangements allow. We’ll talk about your pet’s needs when we plan the trip.How does air travel companionship work?
We navigate the airport and fly together. From check-in and security to changing gates, connections, and unexpected delays, I'll be right there beside you.And if plans change? We'll figure it out together.How far will you travel?
